Master painter, Peter Keegan, will guide you through the precise methods and techniques of the Impressionist masters. He will focus your vision to truly see and think like an Impressionist, approaching pace, composition, color choice, and brushstrokes with their guiding principles.

The peace and beauty present in every corner of the grounds is palpable. Everything here helps you focus- from the birds chirping, to the gently sloping outlooks, to the feeling of being cared for by a village. Your ideas are nurtured, you have time and space, and colorful characters abound.
Immerse yourself and experience life with us in France. Pick produce at the farmer's market, hunt for antiques at brocantes, garden in our wild fields and take walks in picturesque forests. Evenings are for watching classic french films projected in the chateau's grand salon.
This Chateau is uniquly cinematic with its combination of so many centuries of stone, panelling, gardens and towers. When candles are lit, mist is blowing in from the valley below, and costumes are donned, you feel you've fell through a time portal into another age.
The grounds and energy of Puy Vidal are saturated in the healing and grounding vibrations of nature. Not just a place of beauty, Puy Vidal offers the ultimate setting to tune out the noise, go inward, and connect once again with self.

We work hand in hand with guest instructors to create balanced itineraries for our Instructed Creative Retreats, and we develop even more relaxed itineraries for our non-instructed Retreats.

An important part of the Creative Retreat Experience is the feeling of the group all coming together under one roof to learn, play, contemplate and rest. The balance between participating during the day in classes, lectures, activities, meals and more, and being able to ascend to your bedroom and rest, reflect and restore is a magical combination that strengthens the immersive quality of these retreats.
We have five ensuite bedrooms which range from large sumptuous decor to romantic fairy tale chambers, to more modern cozy experiences.
Rooms are assigned in sign up order for each retreat, so book early!
