Suite Toile de Jouy

A charming double room suite, the Toile de Jouy rooms are full of light and Château whimsy. The furthest room is a bedroom, with windows overlooking the courtyard, a desk a fireplace and a sitting area. Passing through a small hallway that used to serve as a kitchenette, in the days that the Chateau had apartments, you will access the second room of the Suite. This second bedroom has a queen size bed. With the two beds, this Suite can sleep 4. Perfect for a luxurious stay for 2, as well as a family suite, this room is perfectly central and beautiful.

Both bedrooms have private access to a shared bathroom in between. The Stone spiral staircase is accessed off of the second room, and both bedrooms have doors leading to the hallway and elevator.

These historic bedrooms are the beautiful accommodations that are included in all of our creative retreats offered here at Chateau de Puy Vidal.

Suite Lafayette

At the end of the Historic Wing hallway waits a resplendent room with magnificently tall beamed ceilings, silk pink wall fabric, a renaissance fireplace, and a canopy over the bed. This is, in fact, the bedroom where General Lafayette is said to have stayed during a visit to Puy Vidal, before departing to the Americas. A romantic room for a couple, or a beautiful retreat for a fairy tale escape, this room truly envelops one in the Chateau experience. This room has a king sized bed.

The Medieval Tower Bedroom is located right next door and is the second bedroom of the Suite. The Tower Bedroom and the Lafayette Bedroom share the bathroom and each have their own private access doors. This bedroom has a full sized bed.
